Hooligan Skates
Sheer Terror was one of my favorite hardcore bands growing up in NY partly because of the respect Rev. Paul Bearer demanded while on stage. Though Joe Coffee doesn’t sport Bearer’s domineering howls as Sheer Terror did, it still packs quite a punch. With the vocal swagger of Glen Danzig or a drunken Elvis, Joe Coffee’s hard core tinged rock & roll provides the perfect sound track to shake your ass to as much as it does to wallowing away your sorrows. Bright As The Stars We’re Under is that perfect CD you’d image to be playing in the backround of your favorite dark, smoke filled, dive bar where at noon you can’t see your hand two feet in front of your face.
